So, about me...
After 25 years, I’ve learned my job is pretty simple:
Figure out what the music needs and play it.
I’m a drummer and musician based in Nashville. I’m from Cleveland, though — and it is my sole purpose in life to make sure you never forget that.
I started playing drums around five years old, mostly in churches, jazz bands, and show choirs. That eventually took me to Boston, Berklee College of Music, and — most importantly — my wife.
While I was in Boston, I worked with artists like Oompa, Lisa Bello, and The Real SING. I’ve also done musicals with Idina Menzel, Justin Tranter, and Whitney White for the one and only Harvard University.
Since moving to Nashville, I’ve worked with Kaylee Rose, Kyndle Wylde, Slim Gambill, and Michael Warren. I also played drums on the intro music for CBS Mornings. I’ve played churches, theaters, tours, cruise ships, weddings, sessions, musicals, and yes…divorce parties.
Outside of music, I love football, pancakes, and talking about Cleveland probably more than I should.
After more than 25 years of doing this, I’m still playing, still learning, and still having fun with it.
